Why do oil refining margins go up when hurricanes hit the U.S.?

There are no refineries in Florida or anywhere right along the coast. So why does it happen?Why do oil refining margins go up when hurricanes hit the U.S.?
There are oil refineries in Louisiana and Texas coast, both of which are in the potential path of hurricanes.
