Which is better: filtered groundnut oil OR refined sun flower oil?

Due to habit, my mother prefers using filtered ground nut oil instead of refined sun flower oil for cooking. Which one is actually better? Sun flower oil is light %26amp; I feel it is good for health. There are many ad-s these days that promote refined sun flower oil as the best for health. Plese advise.Which is better: filtered groundnut oil OR refined sun flower oil?

It is better to use different types of oils as various oils provide various nutrients to the body. For daily cooking purposes we should use refined sunflower oil. For preparing snacks like frying pappads, groundnut oil will be better. For pickles, we should use gingelly oil. But some people don't like the bitter taste of gingelly oil. In that case it is better to use groundnut oil. Don't give up fats altogether. Our body requires certain amount of fats too.
Ur mother is right in using filtered groundnut oil.


Refined oils are more harmful to human body than filtered oils.. in refined oils, they remove such contents, which are useful to the body.
sun flower is the best.
